The Green Scene blog provides creative, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly solutions to the ever-changing viral trends seen online. Using research and external sources, the Green Scene provides a factual information alongside the fun and casual feeling of a blog.
This blog is a space where Amelia combines her passion for the environment while also displaying her interests of trends, fashion, and design. The inner environmental scientist in Amelia is also highlighted in the Green Scene as she strives to use credible and informational resources to educate the readers about environmental topics.

Environmental Correspondent
During the summer of 2024, Amelia worked as an environmental correspondent for Latina Republic, a Latina-owned online magazine that represents "the pulse of Latin America." This organization focuses on providing a platform for local and indigenous voices throughout Latin countries.
As an Environmental Correspondent for Latina Republic, Amelia had the opportunity to write about environmental news in Latin and South American countries. This opportunity was very meaningful to Amelia because her grandmother was born and raised in Ecuador.
With a focus on local voices, Amelia pushed past big media to find what communities across Latin and South America truly felt about environmental topics.
Throughout the summer, Amelia researched, conceptualized, and wrote all of her own articles with the amazing mentorship and guidance of Latina Republic's CEO, Soledad Quartucci. Click the logo to read Amelia's work!
